Page 2 ® Removal of VBC Cable Press seat slide handle (at front of seat) and pull seat as far forward as it will go. Tip the chair onto its right side. Locate the seat out stop feature. Insert a screwdriver below the out stop feature and push it (up) toward the seat.
Page 3 ® Removal of VBC Cable Adjust chair to highest position by activating the seat height lever. Rotate back-tilt knob up to relax cable tension. Lift cable wire slightly and detach cable plug and cable wire from back-tilt cam. Use Torx T20 driver to remove screw and cable guide. SEAT HEIGHT LEVER CABLE...
Page 4 ® Removal of VBC Cable Turn chair over. Use Torx T20 bit to remove four (4) screws. Remove guard plate. NOTE: Grease is applied to pneumatic cylinder column. Take care with hands and clothing. Lift cable guide block with VBC cable. Note alignment pin locations for reinstallation reference. Carefully remove VBC cable from cable block.
