6-10. IF CON SELF DIAGNOSTIC FUNCTION

You can check functions of the buttons using the self-
diagnostics function of IFcon as follows.
The self-diagnostics mode of IFcon is different from the normal
operation in the following points.
1. Power supply voltage monitoring at power-on is stopped.
2. Communication monitor timer with SYScon is stopped.
3. The LED control in the display window is changed to be
used for checking the button functions.
How to enter the self-diagnostics mode
During the STANDBY mode, while pressing the STOP button
of the main unit, press the Remote Control Return -> Screen
Display.
The POWER LED lights in green and the LED (blue) in the
display window lights.
Now you are ready to starting checking the functions of the but-
tons.
How to check the functions of the buttons.
Whenever any buttons of the main unit except the POWER but-
ton is pressed, the LED in the display window repeats turning
off and flashing.
When only the PAUSE button is pressed for one second and
longer, operation of the LED changes as follows. Lights → turns
off (or turns off → lights).
The input voltage range that is judged by the IFcon is shown
below.

How to exit the self-diagnostics mode
Press the POWER button of the main unit to exit the self-diag-
nostics mode and enter the STANDBY mode. If the unit does
not enter the STANDBY mode, press the POWER of the Re-
mote Control while pressing the STOP button of the main unit.
