8.4.3 Function-buttons with track-type DRUM
The track-type DRUM is especially suited to enter drum-patterns. Here, every line in the
matrix works as a sub-track which can be assigned to a MIDI-note-number. Given that these
correspond with a MIDI-sound-engine, you may for example use the lowermost line as a bass
drum, the line above as a snare and so on.
All defined steps can additionally transmit velocity-data, adjustable per sub-track, or an accent
(velocity = 127).

A drum-pattern also offers two controller-tracks, a shuffle-function as well as specific views to
enter velocity and notes:
NOTE/OCT
It is possible to set steps (triggers) here. Their LEDs are half-dimmed. A line represents a drum-
sound (sub-track) such as the bass drum in the lowermost line, the snare above that and so on.
ACC
Here, you can set trigger-steps with full velocity (accent = velocity 127). Their LEDs are fully lit.
