• The cable must be secured so no tension is applied to the connectors. To pre-
vent tension, create a loop in the cable close to the sensor and secure the loop
with cable ties, as shown in the figure below.
• Wrap the junction of the connectors with self-vulcanizing tape for waterproofing.
• Using a cable tie, fasten the cable to the mast, etc. at the neck of each connec-
tor.
6. Connect the LAN connector of the cable assembly to a LAN port on the FURUNO
Multi Function Display or Ethernet HUB.

7. Connect the power wires to the ship's battery (12 VDC or 24 VDC).
• Red wire: Connect to the positive terminal. The red wire has the fuse holder.
• Blue wire: Connect to the negative terminal.
• Black wire: The black wire is a shielding wire for grounding.
