Drive Carrier LEDs

Each drive carrier has two LEDs:
Green: When illuminated, the green LED on the drive carrier indicates the drive
is powered on. If this LED is not lit, it means no power is being provided for the
drive. Please refer to Chapter 5 for instructions on replacing failed drives.
Red: A steady red LED indicates a drive failure. The red LED is also used to
indicate drive location when a drive locate command is issued from the SAS
HDD controller

Expander Status and Link LEDs
Indicators for the expander status are located at the rear of the system. See the
figure below for descriptions.
