Installing The Proto-Sound 3.0
Components Onto The Locomotive
Chassis
Once the existing electronic components have been removed from your
locomotive, begin locating the best mounting position for the Proto-Sound 3.0
components. The major components are the Proto-Sound 3.0 board, Proto-Sound
3.0 Heat Sink Bracket and the speaker. The speaker can often be installed in the
fuel tank (if your locomotive is so equipped) leaving the chassis areas in front
of, between, and behind the motors for the remaining Proto-Sound 3.0
equipment.
This Premier Line GG-1 features no fuel tank, so the speaker must be mounted onto the
chassis.
