Mounting the side-handle

The side handle can be used for both left-hand and right-hand control.
•
Fasten the side handle for left-hand operation on the right-hand side of
the machine.
•
Fasten the side handle for right-hand operation on the left-hand side of
the machine.
Make sure that the side handle is fastened properly and cannot
loosen unexpectedly.
Setting the speed

The speed can be set (from slow to fast) using the continuous speed
adjustment wheel (2).
Switching on:
• Push the switch (1) forward to position
Switching off:
• Push the switch (1) back to position
Hints for optimum use
• Clamp the workpiece. Use a clamping device for small workpieces.
• Draw a line to define the direction in which to guide the accessory.
• Firmly hold the machine by the grip.
• Switch on the machine.
• Wait until the machine has reached full speed.
• Place the accessory on the workpiece.
• Slowly move the machine along the pre-drawn line, firmly pressing the
accessory against the workpiece.
• Do not apply too much pressure on the machine. Let the machine do the
work.
• Apply less pressure when the machine starts to vibrate heavily.
• Switch off the machine and wait for the machine to come to a complete
standstill before putting the machine down.
