Cold Conditions
In extremely cold conditions, always
protect the camera from outside air
and try to finish sl\ooting as quickly
as possible. -
In temperatures below 0°C (32°F) .
the battery may be affected, so you
may want to carry a spare . Keep the
camera and spare battery close to your
body or in a p ocket to keep them
wa1m until you are ready to take
a picture . Although the battery may
not function well in cold cou<liLions,
don't throw it away. It may work
perfectly again when you use the
camera in wanner temperatures.

and lens taken from subzero outside
temperatures irito a warm room may
cause corrosion. Let the camera grad-
ually adjust to the temperature change
by placing it in a completely scaled
plastic bag for a _ while.
