To rewind the
film,
press in Lhc film rewind
button on
the
bottom
of
the
camer
a
.
Once
you have
pressed it,
you can remove your
finge
r.
Unfold
the film rewind crank
and
turn it in t
he
direction of
the small
arr
ow
until the frame
co
unter reaches
the
"S"
mark.
At
this
p
oint
only
the film
lead
er
will
not
be
rewound
in
to the cartridge. Stop
rrwittding here if the
film
is
only partially
exposed
and
you want to
reload it at
some
other
time.
Also, some
developing
labs pre-
fer the leader to remain
protruding,
and
the
leader may also
fJrevent
a11y
stray light from
cnlering
the
cartridge.

further
pressure
on

e
rewind
crank.
Now
pull the
rewind knob up sharply to
open
the
back
cover and
remove
th
e
cartridge.
It is preferable to place the
ex-
posed
cartridge
back in the
canister
and
to
have
it
de\•eloped as soon
as
possible.

Frame Counter
The frame counter of the t\-1 is
an
additive
type.

advances

the next
numb er

indicating
the
number
of frames already
exposed,
each
time the
film
is
wound.
l twill
not
advance
higher
than
38.
The
numbers
0
,
20
and
36
are
marked
in
orange,
the
latter
two as a warning of
the
end or near-end of
films having those numbers
of
frames. This
frame
counter
is
also
coupled
with the
rewinding
operation
so thaL it
counts
back
the
frame numbe rs as the film is
rewound.
