 Perform the same procedures for the Alignment
Menus "10-04 P50" through "10-15 P05", "11-
01 P1H" through "11-15 P05", "12-01 P1H"
through "12-15 P05" per the chart at the right.
 Press the [ENT] key to save the new setting at 1.8
MHz, 3.5 MHz, 7 MHz, and 10 MHz Bands.
 Perform the same procedures for the Alignment
Menus "14-01 P1H" through "14-15 P05" per
the chart at the above.
 Press the [ENT] key to save the new setting at
14 MHz, 18 MHz, and 21 MHz Bands.
 Perform the same procedures for the Alignment
Menus "17-01 P1H" through "17-15 P05" per
the chart at the abob.
 Press the [ENT] key to save the new setting at
24 MHz and 28 MHz Bands.
 Perform the same procedures for the Alignment
Menus "19-01 P1H" through "19-15 P05" per
the chart above.
 Press and hold in the [MENU] button for one
second to save the new settings and exit the
alignment mode.
AM-TXG Adjustment
 Connect the 50-Ohm Dummy Load and Watt-
meter to the "ANT 1" jack.
 Set the value of Menu item "177 TX MAX
PWR" to "100", and rotate the [PROC/CAR]
knob for Maximum..
 Set the VFO-A frequency to 14.200 MHz in the
AM mode.
 Press and hold in the [1.8(1)], [3.5(2)], and [7(3)]
keys, while turning the radio on, to enter the
alignment mode.
 Rotate the Main Tuning Dial knob to select the
alignment parameter "20-02 TX-CAR AM"
 Rotate the [CLAR(VFO-B)] knob so that the
Display Window shows "0".
 Press the PTT button without microphone in-
put, then rotate the [CLAR(VFO-B)] knob for 70
W (+5 W/–5 W) on the Wattmeter.
 Release the PTT button.
 Press and hold in the [MENU] button for one
second to save the new setting and exit the
alignment mode.
REV-ALC Adjustment
 Connect the 16.6-Ohm Dummy Load to the
"ANT 1" jack.
 Press and hold in the [1.8(1)], [3.5(2)], and [7(3)]
keys, while turning the radio on, to enter the
alignment mode.
 Rotate the Main Tuning Dial knob to select the
alignment parameter "21-01 REV-ALC 1.8"
 P r e s s t h e P T T b u t t o n , t h e n r o t a t e t h e
[CLAR(VFO-B)] knob so that the PO meter
turns on 50 W (+0 W/- 20 W).
 Release the PTT button, then press the [ENT]
key.
 Perform the same procedures for the Alignment
Menus "21-02 REV-ALC 3.5" through "21-10
REV ALC 50".
 Press and hold in the [MENU] button for one
second to save the new setting and exit the
alignment mode.
FM MAX Deviation Adjustment
 Connect the Dummy Load, Wattmeter, and De-
viation Meter to the "ANT 1" Jack.
 Set the VFO-A frequency to 28.700 MHz in the
FM mode.
 Set the value of Menu item "084 FM MIC
GAIN" to "50".
 Connect the Audio Generator to pin 8 of the
MIC jack (pin 7: GND), then
set the output level to 2 mV @1
kHz.
 Press and hold in the [1.8(1)],
[3.5(2)], and [7(3)] keys, while
turning the radio on, to enter the alignment
mode.
 Rotate the Main Tuning Dial knob to select the
alignment parameter "22-02 FM-DEV".
 P r e s s t h e P T T b u t t o n , t h e n r o t a t e t h e
[CLAR(VFO-B)] knob for 4.5 kHz (±0.2 kHz) on
the Deviation Meter.
 Release the PTT button.
 Rotate the Main Tuning Dial knob to select the
alignment parameter "22-03 FM-N-DEV".
 P r e s s t h e P T T b u t t o n , t h e n r o t a t e t h e
[CLAR(VFO-B)] knob for 2.25 kHz (±0.15 kHz)
on the Deviation Meter.
 Release the PTT button.
 Press and hold in the [MENU] button for one
second to save the new setting and exit the
alignment mode.
