NOTICE

The accessories connected to the
auxiliary DC jack should not be used
with the engine turned off, and their

combined load must never exceed 6
A or 72 W, otherwise the battery may
8
discharge.
The auxiliary DC jack is located on the
9
front carrier.
12-V accessories connected to the
auxiliary jack, located on the front carri-
er, can be used when the key is in the
"ON" position and should only be used
EAU15402
when the engine is running.
Refer to the following chart for correct
usage.

To use the auxiliary DC jack
1. Turn the key to "OFF".
2. Remove the dust cap from the re-
ceptacle.
3. Insert the accessory plug into the
ECA13070
receptacle and secure it with the
screw-on cap.
4. Turn the key to "ON", and then
start the engine. (See page 6-1.)
5. When the accessory jack is not be-
ing used, make sure that the dust
cap is installed onto the receptacle
for protection.
