Remove the air baffle.

If an expansion board is installed in slot 9, do the following:
a. Remove the drive cage assembly.
b. Disconnect any internal cables that are connected to the riser module.
c. Remove the expansion board.

Locate the battery on the system board.
10. If the system battery is secured by a metal tab, do the following:
a. Use your finger or a small flat-bladed, nonconductive tool to press the metal tab. This will partially
release the battery from the socket.
b. Remove the battery.
IMPORTANT:
Replacing the system board battery resets the system ROM to its default configuration. After
replacing the battery, reconfigure the system through RBSU.
