Use only bolts supplied with the transmitter or sold by Emerson as spare parts.

    Failure to install proper flange adapter O-rings may cause process leaks, which can result in death or serious injury. The two flange adapters are distinguished by unique O-ring grooves. Grounding terminations are provided on the outside of the electronics housing and inside the Terminal Compartment.

This mode allows the transmitter to communicate with any PROFIBUS PA control host with either the generic Profile GSD (9700) or Rosemount 2051 specific GSD (3333) loaded on the host; therefore, it is not required to change the transmitter identification number at startup.
