Step 1: inStallinG Your enGine aCCeSSorieS
IMPORTANT Balance both the propeller and the spinner to ensure vibration-free operation.
STeP 2: inSTAlling YoUR SWiTch, BATTeRY AnD ReceiveR
❑ Drill a 5/64" (2mm) diameter hole through the wing for the antenna to exit, then run the antenna out and along the bottom of the
fuselage. Use pieces of clear tape to secure it into place along the length of the fuselage. do not cut the antenna shorter.
Step 3: inStallinG the hatCh CoVer

❑ Electric Drill
❑ 1/16" (1.6mm) and 5/64" (2mm) Drill Bits
❑ Airplane Stand
❑ Install your muffler, fuel lines, propeller and spinner assembly onto the
engine.
❑ Install your On/Off switch in front of the radio hatch opening.
❑ Wrap your receiver and battery pack in foam rubber to protect them from
vibration, then install them into the radio hatch using your favorite method.
Strips of hook and loop material work good.
IMPORTANT Secure the loose servo leads to the fuselage side, using
pieces of clear tape. All three servo leads should enter the radio hatch
at the same location.
❑ Cut away the covering material from over the four predrilled holes in the
hatch cover.
❑ Cut a notch in the side of the hatch cover for the elevator, rudder and
throttle servo leads to pass through.
