❑ With the stopper assembly installed, double-check to make sure that the clunk can move freely inside the fuel tank. Ideally, the
clunk should be about 1/4" (6mm) in front of the back of the fuel tank. This will ensure that the clunk can't get stuck in the fuel tank
during flight. hold the fuel tank up to a bright light to make it easier to see the clunk inside.
Step 3: inStallinG the fuel tank aSSeMBlY
❑ (1) 6-1/4" (160mm) Plain Wire with Z-Bend
❑ 2.5mm Hex Wrench
❑ Thin C/A
❑ # 1 Phillips Head Screwdriver
❑ Wire Cutters
❑ Modeling Knife
Step 1: inStallinG the throttle SerVo
❑ Cut away the covering material from both sides of the four precut fuel tank
mounting slots in the fuselage. You should be able to see the two lower slots
underneath the covering material. The two upper slots are 2-1/4" (57mm)
above the lower slots.
❑ Loop one nylon cable tie through the two front slots and one through the
two rear slots.
❑ Slide the fuel tank into the loops you made with the cable ties, then align
the molded channels in the fuel tank with the cable ties and pull the cable
ties tightly to firmly secure the fuel tank to the fuselage.
IMPORTANT Make sure that the top of the fuel tank is toward the top
of the fuselage.

❑ Cut away the covering material from over both sides of the throttle servo
mounting hole in the fuselage.
❑ (1) Adjustable Pushrod Connector with Nut and Machine Screw
❑ 5/64" (2mm) and 1/8" (3.2mm) Drill Bits
❑ Electric Drill
❑ 1/16" (1.6mm) and 5/64" (2mm) Drill Bits
❑ Airplane Stand
