3. CONNECTORS
DC IN
DC IN ..................... The AC adapter supplied with this terminal is connected.
COM1..................... D-sub 9-pin male type connector (without power supply)
A slot scanner, modem, serial Interface type scale, EFT, etc. are connectable.
COM2..................... D-sub 9-pin male type connector (without power supply)
A slot scanner, modem, serial Interface type scale, EFT, etc. are connectable.
COM4..................... D-sub 9-pin female type connector (with +5V, +12V output)
A line display unit or RS-232C type hand scanner is connectable.
SIO2 ...................... D-sub 9-pin female type connector (with +5V, +12V output)
A line display unit or RS-232C type hand scanner is connectable.
DRW1, 2 ................ A 24V type drawer is connectable.
LPT1 ...................... D-sub 25-pin female connector
Printer, etc. having a Centronics interface or equivalent are connectable.
LAN ........................ Modular type connector for the 10BASE-T/100BASE-TX LAN interface
USB1, 2.................. Connector for the USB (Universal Serial Bus) interface
USB V2.0/1.1 and UHCI (conforming to Universal Hub Controller Interface
V2.0/1.1)
NOTE: USB functions may not be supported depending on the Operating System.
PS-2 Connectors.... Mini-DIN 6-pin female type connector
Connector for the PS-2 type mouse
Connector for the PS-2 type keyboard
(When the MCR is installed, this connector can be used for the PC keyboard
interface. When the POS keyboard is connected to this connector, the MCR and
mode key switch provided on the POS keyboard are not available.)
