INTERFACE CARD 6 X RS 485 TO ETHERNET TCP/IP
The interface card A6825 is a component of the A6000 machine monitoring system. The card
serves as interface between max. 6 RS 485 bus lines and the ETHERNET TCP/IP transmission
line.
Per bus line up to 31 A6000 monitore can be connected.
At computers, which get access to the interface card via TCP/IP network must be installed a
driver software (VxComm Utility). The driver software generates 6 virtual COM−ports according
to the 6 RS 485 bus lines.

If the contents are incomplete or if is there any damage, so directly complain at the bearer. The
competent epro−sales agency must be also informed, to enable repair or replacement for the
monitor. Repair or calibration of this instrument may only be done at epro.
In this product information the mounting and electrical connection of the
monitor is described.
For secure use of the monitor, observe the direction for use "Interface Card
6 x RS 485 to Ethernet TCP/IP A6825" (order number: 6110−90092). You can
find this direction on the configuration software CD as pdf−data file. Amongst
others, it contains useful informations for configuration and use of the A6825.
To ensure the safe operation of the monitor and to permit setting of all
functions, it is indispensable to use only the latest version of configuration
software (version 2.08 or newer) and operating manual.
The use of old operating manuals or configuration programs out of date may
lead to malfunctions or limitations of the measuring functions.
