7 Setting and procedure for operation

7.6 Setting from GX Works2

This section explains setting from GX Works2 necessary to use QE82LG. Before performing this setting,
install GX Works2 and connect the Management CPU with the PC using a USB cable. For details, refer
to the manual of CPU module.
Point
To addition the unit, enable the switch setting, parameter setting and auto refresh,
write the settings to the CPU module, and reset the CPU module or power on the
programmable controller again.
7.6.1 Addition the unit
Add the model name of the energy measuring module to use the project.
(1) Addition procedure
Open the "New Module" window.

Module Type Set [Energy Measuring module].
Module Name Set the name of the module to mount.
Base No. Set the base No. where the module is mounted.
Mounted Slot Set the slot No. where the module is mounted.

Specify start XY The start I/O number (hexadecimal) of the target module is set,
address according to the mounted slot No. Any start I/O number can be
set.
Title Set any title.
