MAKING THE CONNECTIONS

1 Headphones
Connect a set of headphones optionally via a 6.3 mm plug or a 3.5 mm plug to the headphones
output [1]. To monitor a deck, press its CUE button [12] and turn the CUE MIXING control to the left
CUE position. To monitor the current music program ahead of the master control, turn the CUE
MIXING control [1] to the right MAS(TER) position. Adjust the desired headphones volume with the
LEVEL control [2].
2 Microphone
You can connect a DJ microphone via an XLR or 6.3 mm plug (balanced or unbalanced) to the MIC
input [8]. Set corresponding input selector switch [15] to MIC to select the microphone as input
source. The microphone signal is directly mixed to the master signal. To switch on the microphone
set the microphone selector switch [18] to ON (LED lights). For automatic level attenuation (20 dB)
of all channels in case of microphone announcements set the microphone selector switch [18] to
TALKOVER (LED flashes). Adjust the microphone volume with the LEVEL control [16] and the
sound with the TONE control [17].
