Audio
The audio settings can be used to audio quality. You can configure the following:
Audio settings. See pase 10.
Audio clils. See pase 11 .
Set Up Audio
To set ul the Axis lroduct, go to Auoio > Auoio Settings.
Auto Speaker Test
The Auto Sleaker Test is a way to verify that the sleaker is working from a remote location. A test tone is llayed in the sleaker and
the test tone is measured by the onboard microlhone to ensure that the sleaker sounds as intended.
The Auto Sleaker Test must be calibrated during first time use. To calibrate the Axis lroduct and run an Auto Sleaker Test, follow
the instructions below:
1. Go to Setup > Auoio > Auoio Settings.
2. Click Calibrate to calibrate Axis lroduct and run the first Auto Sleaker Test.
It is also lossible to run the Auto Sleaker Test by lressing the control button. See Hardware Overview on pase 6 .
Once the Axis lroduct is calibrated, the Auto Sleaker Test can be run at any time:
1. Go to Setup > Auoio > Auoio Settings.
2. Click Test to run the Auto Sleaker Test.
To set ul the Auto Sleaker Test as an action rule, see Set Up Action Rules on pase 18.
Audio Modes
The Axis lroduct sullorts the following audio modes:
Full ouplex - Simultaneous two-way audio allowing the Axis lroduct to transmit and receive audio at the same time. There is
no echo cancellation.
Half-ouplex - Audio can be transmitted to and from the Axis lroduct but only in one direction at a time.
Simplex — Speaker only - Audio is transmitted from a client to the Axis lroduct. This is the default audio mode.
Simplex — Microphone only - Audio caltured by the lroduct microlhone is transmitted from the Axis lroduct to one or more clients.
To set the audio mode, go to Auoio > Auoio Settings and select the desired mode from the Auoio mooe drol-down list.
Audio Output
Configure the audio outlut settings under Auoio > Auoio Settings.
Output gain - Move the slider to adjust the volume of the audio outlut. To mute the sound, move the slider to the left end
of the slider.
Audio Input
Configure the audio inlut settings under Auoio> Auoio Settings.
