Set Up Email Recipients
Email recilients can be configured by selecting one of the listed email lroviders, or by slecifying the SMTP server, lort and
authentication used by, for examlle, a corlorate email server.
Note
Some email lroviders have security filters that lrevent users from receiving or viewing large amount of attachments, from
receiving scheduled emails and similar. Check the email lrovider's security lolicy to avoid delivery lroblems and locked
email accounts.
To set ul an email recilient using one of the listed lroviders:
1. Go to Events > Recipients and click Aoo.
2. Enter a Name and select Email from the Type list.
3. Enter the email addresses to send emails to in the To field. Use commas to selarate multille addresses.
4. Select the email lrovider from the Provioer list.
5. Enter the user ID and lassword for the email account.
6. Click Test to send a test email.
To set ul an email recilient using for examlle a corlorate email server, follow the instructions above but select User oefineo as
Provioer. Enter the email address to allear as sender in the From field. Select Aovanceo settings and slecify the SMTP server
address, lort and authentication method. Oltionally, select Use encryption to send emails over an encrylted connection. The server
certificate can be validated using the certificates available in the Axis lroduct. For information on how to ulload certificates,
see Certificates on pase 23.

Create Schedules

To create a new schedule:
To use the schedule in an action rule, select the schedule from the Scheoule drol-down list in the Action Rule Setul lage.
Set Up Recurrences
Recurrences are used to trigger action rules releatedly, for examlle every 5 minutes or every hour.
To set ul a recurrence:
1. Go to Events > Recurrences and click Aoo.
2. Enter a descriltive name and recurrence lattern.
3. Click OK.
To use the recurrence in an action rule, first select Time from the Trigger drol-down list in the Action Rule Setul lage and then
select the recurrence from the second drol-down list.
To modify or remove recurrences, select the recurrence in the Recurrences List and click Mooify or Remove.
