MAINTENANCE
Always remember to:
1. Check for loose wiring.
2. Check for damaged piping.
3. Check for parts damaged by heat or an electrical
short circuit, usually apparent by discoloration or
a burnt odor.
TROUBLESHOOTING

PROBABLE CAUSE
No Fuel
Plugged Fuel Filter
Low Battery Voltage
Plugged Air Filter
Engine Problems May Have
Developed.
Defective Engine Oil Pressure Switch
Blown Fuse In Wiring Harness
No Fuel
Compressor Discharge Temperature
Switch Is Open
Defective Engine Oil Pressure Switch
Blown Fuse In Wiring Harness
Air Demand Is Too Great.
Dirty Air Filter
Pressure Regulator Out Of Adjustment
Should the problem(s) persist after making the rec-
ommended check, consult your nearest Sullair rep-
resentative or the Sullair Corporation.
Check fuel level and add fuel if necessary.
Check fuel shut--- off valve.
Replace the element.
Recharge or replace if necessary.
Loose battery cables; tighten cables.
Dirty battery cables; clean thoroughly.
Clean or replace the element.
Refer to Engine Operator's Manual.
Check continuity flow and replace
the switch if necessary.
Check continuity and replace if necessary.
Check fuel level and add fuel if necessary.
Cooling air flow is insufficient; clean cooler
and check for proper ventilation.
Low fluid sump level; add fluid.
Clogged compressor fluid filter; change
element.
The temperature regulating section of the
fluid control center is not functioning
properly; change the thermostat element.
Defective discharge temperature switch;
check for a short or open circuit to the
engine fuel rack solenoid. Should this check
out normally, it could be possible that the
temperature switch itself is defective.
Check continuity and replace if necessary.
Check continuity and replace if necessary.
For compressors with idle warm--- up valves,
engage valve for full operation.
Check service lines for leaks or open valves.
Check the filter indicator and change element
if required.
Adjust regulator according to control
adjustment instructions in the Maintenance
section.
