Engaging the parking brakes (Picture B-1)
The brakes are located on the back side of the shell chair. With your foot, press the back side of the
brake plate c downwards.
Disengaging the parking brakes (Picture B-2)
The brakes are located on the back side of the shell chair. With your foot, press the front side of the
brake plate c downwards.

Use of the safety belt

WARNING:
Risk of injury – Adjust the safety belt as close as possible to the
   
body of the patient so the patient cannot slide out of the safety belt.
WARNING:
Risk of injury – Use the safety belt for patients with extreme
   
movements. Failure to do this could lead to the patient falling out of the chair.
When the patient has spasms or makes restless movements the safety belt shall be used.
1. Mount the waist belt around the waist of
the patient.
2. Click the buckle of belt c into the buckle of
belt d.
3. If needed adjust the waist belt.
