- Page 4 Horizontal alignment Place the device on a stable, horizontal base. It is recommended to install the device on working heigt. This improves the comfort while working and will result in a higher quality. Usage of a cross line laser with a spindle or telescopic tripod is optimal. The choice of the appropriate tripod immediately impacts the user friendliness of the de- vice.

Switch on the device and wait until the levelling motors have aligned the device. The device is completely aligned once the central LED light stops blinking and shows green per- manently.
- Page 6 Plumb beam Once one vertical line is switched on, the device also projects a plumb beam (7). The cross on the ceiling and the plumb beam form a perfect plumb line. The plumb beam can help you to position the vertical line in an easy way or to lay out right angles.
