MAC Clone

Typically, you do not need to change the default MAC address of the router. However,
some ISPs require MAC address authentication and only accept traffic from a specific
MAC address. For example, your computer's MAC address that has been previously
registered with the ISP when you first set up your internet service. If that is the case, you
can clone your computer's MAC address to your router.
Also, you can manually change the MAC address of the router. It is helpful when your
internet access account provided by your ISP is bound to one specific MAC address,
in other words, your ISP just permits only one computer with the authenticated MAC
address to access the internet. In this case, you can use MAC Clone to allow more
computers to access the internet via the same account.
