KEYLESS GO*
Problem
You cannot lock or unlock the vehicle us-
ing the KEYLESS GO key.
Possible cause/consequence
The KEYLESS GO key batteries are nearly
discharged or fully discharged.
There is a malfunction with KEYLESS GO.

Suggested solutions
Lock or unlock the vehicle using the re-
mote control function on the KEYLESS
GO key. To do this, point the tip of the
key at the driver's door handle at close
range as you would when using the sum-
mer opening or convenience closing fea-
ture ( page 365) and try to open the
vehicle again.
If this does not work:
Unlock or lock the vehicle using the
emergency key element ( page 495).
Check the KEYLESS GO key batteries
and change them if necessary
( page 499).
Check the KEYLESS GO key batteries
and change them if necessary
( page 499).
Have the KEYLESS GO key checked at a
qualified specialist workshop.
