Memory function*

Memory function*
You can store up to three different settings
using the memory button.
The following settings are stored as a sin-
gle memory preset for the driver's seat:
Seat position and lumbar support ad-
justment
Dynamic driving seat*: activated/
deactivated
Multi-contour seat*: last setting made
Steering wheel position
Exterior mirror position on the driver's
and front-passenger side

Risk of accident
Only activate the memory function on the
driver's side when the vehicle is stationary.
You could otherwise be distracted by a
spontaneous movement of the steering
wheel or seat.
The memory button and the storage posi-
tion buttons are located on the door con-
trol panel.

Storage position buttons
Make sure that the key is in position 1
or 2 in the ignition lock or a door is
open.
To store: adjust the seat ( page 259).
On the driver's side, also adjust the
steering wheel ( page 268) and the
mirrors ( page 269).
Press the M memory button.
Press one of storage position switches
1, 2 or 3 within three seconds.
The settings are stored in this storage
position.
Calling up a stored setting
Press and hold relevant storage posi-
tion switch 1, 2 or 3 until the seat,
steering wheel and mirrors have moved
to the stored position.

The seat, steering wheel and mirror setting
procedure is interrupted as soon as you release
the storage position switch. The multi-contour
seat* setting or the lumbar support adjustment
are still carried out.
