: Remove the sleeve (1).
: Check flange (2) and manifold (3)
for damage and replace if
necessary.
: If necessary, pull the flange (2) off
the manifold (3).
Install in the reverse sequence.
: When installing, check that the
notches (arrows) in the manifold
line up with the screw sleeves in
the flange.
: Make sure the sleeve (1) is
properly seated.
: When installing, check that the
groove in the manifold is properly
seated in the fan housing (arrow).

– Fit the carburetor, line up the
flange and manifold so it is
straight and then secure the
clamp.
– Carefully tighten down the clamp
until the distance between the
tabs is 5–6 mm.
Use new gaskets.

Install all other parts in the reverse
sequence.

Ignition System

Exercise extreme caution when
carrying out maintenance and repair
work on the ignition system. The
high voltages which occur can
cause serious or even fatal
accidents.Troubleshooting on the
ignition system should always begin
at the spark plug, b 4.2.

of an ignition module (1) and
flywheel (2).
