The provided context does not contain specific troubleshooting steps for the Avery Dennison Monarch 939i being stuck on the "please wait done" screen. However, you can try the following general troubleshooting steps:

1. Power Cycle the Device – Turn off the keyboard and printer, unplug them from power, wait for a few minutes, then plug them back in and turn them on.
2. Check Cable Connections – Ensure all cables are properly connected between the keyboard and the printer.
3. Reset the Keyboard – If the device has a reset function, try performing a reset.
4. Verify Printer Status – Ensure the connected printer is powered on and ready.
5. Check for Hardware Issues – If the issue persists, there may be a hardware fault requiring service.

If the problem continues, refer to the user manual or contact Avery Dennison support for assistance.
