2.10.2 Data Display Panel

The Data Display Panel provides an economical means of displaying up to 150 digital and 150
analog input points from a D20/D200. Any data point available in the D20/D200 database can be
viewed from a single data display panel, and all information displayed can be scaled to
engineering units for easy interpretation. Seven pre-configured screens are available for easy set-
up, and an additional 30 user-defined screens that can be configured using SGConfig.
The Data Display Panel is available in two versions, one that can be installed directly on a 19"
rack and one that is installed directly onto a D20 chassis, as shown in Figure 47:
2.10.3 Fiber Optic Interfaces
Fiber-optic communications links, with greater noise immunity to power-switching transients
and voltage gradients, are available for RS-232 and RS-485 serial links.
GE Grid Solutions is currently recommending the use of Dymec 5843/5844 single- and multi-
mode industrial fiber optic links and repeaters:
