    OPERATIONS Turn on the display by pressing the ON/OFF key. When you turn on the display, the display will show all the segments and count up “0” to “9”. (If you want to stop it, press any key.) When you turn on the display, make sure that platter is empty. Otherwise, display will show the “OFL”.

    2. Weighing with Tare Tare is the weight of container being used for a commodity. The TARE key subtracts the weight of the container. Place the container on the platter. Press the TARE key. Make sure that ZERO and TARE lamps should be on.

    Remove the container and the commodity, then the display will show the weight of container with “-”. Press the TARE key. TARE 3. Saving a PLU to Memory This function stores each PLU into a internal back up memory. PLU means Price Look Up which has a unit price. Direct PLU Enter a unit price by pressing the numeric keys.

    5. Add up the Price When you need to weigh a commodity, you can use this method. Place the commodity on the platter. Enter a unit price or call up a PLU, then you will see the total price. After you hear a beep sound, press the + key. If you want to cancel the last transaction you just entered, press the - key.

    Remove the commodity from the platter, then you can go to normal mode. If you have other items to add up, go to step and then follow these steps again. Note: This function could be continued either up to 99 transactions or the total price reaches up to 99999999.

    7. Multiplication Function Make sure that display should be zero. Enter a unit price by pressing numeric keys or call up a PLU. Press the key. Enter the number of items by pressing numeric keys, then you will see the price. (EXAMPLE : 10 pieces, Unit Price : 2.00) Note: You can enter the number of commodities up to 99.

    Press the + key again, then you can go to normal mode automatically. 8. How to Display the Added Total Price To confirm the added total price Press the TTP CALL key. CALL Press the TTP CALL key again, then you can go to normal mode automatically.

    Press the C key. 9. Change Calculation Press the TTP CALL key, then you will see the added total price. CALL Press the PAY key. Enter the customer's payment. Press the PAY key, then you will see the change.

    Press the PAY key, then the added total price will be cleared. Note: A customer's payment should be always bigger than the total price. Otherwise, you will see the error message and error beep sound may be generated. (Refer to ERROR MESSAGE) 10.

    Remove the commodity from the platter then you can go to normal mode. 11. How to Call the Daily Total Price To confirm the daily total price. Make sure that platter is empty. Press the MODE key. (For example, the number of transactions : 253 times, MODE daily total price : 12,357,600.00$) Press the MODE key, then you can go to normal mode.

    Press the C key, then you can go to normal mode. 12. Auto-Power Off Auto-power off function makes the battery’s life longer. When you don’t operate the scale, this function makes the power OFF automatically. Make sure that power is off. Press the ZERO and ON/OFF key at the same time.

    Press the ZERO key. Then the scale saves what you programmed and shows the End , then count up 0 to ZERO 9 . You can go to normal mode. 13. How to Set the Back Light Function After setting the auto power off, press the ZERO key then you can set the back light function.

    14. Tare Option While saving a PLU, you have the option of programming tare. After setting the back light function, press the ZERO key. Press the TARE key until the display shows ON or OFF. TARE ON means that you can program tare while saving a PLU and OFF means that you can’t program tare while saving a PLU.

  • Page 25 Programming a date Make sure that the power is off. While pressing the key, press the ON/OFF key. Then the display shows ‘print set’. Enter the date by using the ASCII code. (Refer to Table 3) A date can be up to 24 characters long. You can edit the date by pressing the [ ],[ ] keys.
  • Page 26 Programming a monetary unit You can program a monetary unit in the same way. (Refer to Programming a date.) A monetary unit can be up to 3 characters long. Once you have entered the monetary unit, enter 00 and press the SAVE key. The display show End and go to normal mode.

    16. How to Charge the Battery If you have the low battery, the scale shows . At this time, charge the battery by using the adapter. Note that only rechargeable battery is available. When the red lamp is on, it means that the battery is charging. It takes for 4 hours to charge the battery.

    ERROR MESSAGE This is an overload. Before turn on the power, make sure that there is nothing on the platter. Remove the commodity from the platter. TOTAL OFL If the number of counts is more than 99 times or the added total price is bigger than 99999999, then you will see the error message as below.
