2. After you insert a fully charged battery, your handheld should
start. Replace the battery cover and verify that it locks into
place.
3. Confirm the date and time on your handheld. If it is incorrect,
click Edit. Refer to "Setting the date and time" on page 51 for
more information.
To remove the battery
1. Unlock the battery cover by pressing the locking tab.
2. While pressing the locking tab, remove the battery cover by
firmly sliding it to the right and lifting it away from the
handheld.
3. Remove the battery from the handheld.

Charging your handheld battery

Your handheld is powered by a removable, rechargeable lithium
battery. Before you operate your handheld, familiarize yourself with
proper battery use and care. Refer to "Important safety information"
on page 5 for more information.
You can charge your handheld battery using the cradle or the travel
charger.
Note: Charge the battery to its full capacity to increase the length of
time that you can use your handheld before the battery requires
recharging.
