The following descriptions can help familiarize you with the
components of your package.
Cradle/Charger
The cradle provides a link between your handheld and your
computer, so that you can use the desktop software that is included
in your package. The serial port on the bottom of the handheld fits
into the prongs of the cradle. You must connect the cradle to your
computer to use the desktop software.
Your handheld contains an external rechargeable lithium battery.
Exact battery life depends on factors such as usage and quality of
wireless coverage. The cradle is used to recharge the handheld
battery.
Note: If you only want to only charge your handheld and do not want to
use the desktop software, you do not need to connect the cradle to your
computer.
