Press the [Service Name] key and enter the name of the printer.
The name you enter here appears in the Macintosh Chooser window.
IMPORTANT
• The name of the printer can have up to 32 characters.
• If there is more than one printer in the same zone, each printer must have a unique name.

Press the [Zone] key to enter a zone name.
If you are using a network that is set up in zones, enter the name of the zone.

Confirm the settings you entered and press the [OK] key.

Press the [Done] key.
Repeat until the Additional Functions screen closes.

Restart the machine.
Turn the printer unit power switch, the scanner unit power switch, and the control panel power
switch to OFF, and then turn the power to ON after waiting at least 3 seconds.
The protocol settings are now complete.
