3. In winter, the batteries may respond more slowly and the batteries' range may be reduced.
4. When driving on a slope or hill, the battery indicator light might move up and down. This is
normal and there is no need for concern.
5. Even if the batteries are used properly, it is natural for their capacity to reduce in time, which
results in reduced battery range compared to a brand new battery. When the batteries'
range is about only 50% of that when they were new, it is time to replace them. Please
contact CareCo about replacement batteries. If you continue to use old batteries when they
should be replaced, the performance of your scooter could be affected.
6. The battery range will be reduced when frequently driving uphill or on rough ground, as this
leads to greater consumption of power.
7. The batteries have a six-month warranty covering manufacturing defects. This warranty
does not cover faults due to incorrect battery recharging.

4.3 HOW TO SET TO FREEWHEEL MODE

Engaged mode (Fig. 4.1): Lift the freewheel lever up completely, the scooter can be driven
by motor power.
Freewheel Mode (Fig 4.2): Push the freewheel lever down completely, the scooter can be
moved manually.
