• NULL Pad: If this box is checked, the stream is made CBR by padding it with NULL
packets. The padding rate can be controlled by using the Advanced Edit button. This
function is not available for Stream 1 as it is already padded from the ASI source.
• Input Rate: This field reports the instantaneous measured input rate for the stream.
• Peak Rate: If the stream is enabled, this field reports the peak rate observed in the stream
since it was enabled.
• Output Rate: This field reports the output rate of the stream. If NULL padding is
disabled, it will match the input rate. If NULL padding is enabled, it will correspond to
the padding rate.
• Advanced Edit: When the Edit button is clicked, the Advanced Edit area opens at the
bottom of the table. This allows for detailed configuration of the port, including the
NULL padding parameters, IP parameters, and FEC parameters. A more detailed
description of the edit area is provided below.
When the Edit button is clicked for a stream, the following message appears at the top of the
