• Audio 2 Embedded Group: This version of the decoder firmware only supports
decoding of one audio service, so this control is disabled. Decoding of a second audio
service will be offered in a future firmware update.
• Format: This selects the output format. It is only relevant if the BBG-1090-DEC-MPEG
is decoding a Standard Definition (SD) signal and up-converting it to HD. Setting format
to 4x3 will produce a pillarbox image (a 4x3 image with black bands on both sides).
Setting format to 16x9 will stretch the image to full screen – this is recommended if the
SD signal is anamorphic.
• Enable Genlock: If this box is checked, the SDI output can be genlocked to a reference
signal. The following controls become available:
• Genlock Line Offset: By default, the Decoder will align the beginning of the video
frames between the genlock reference and the SDI output. This control allows the offset
to be changed by an integral number of lines. The available range for this parameter
depends on the SDI output selection, as follows:
• Genlock Sample Offset: By default, the Decoder will align the beginning of the video
frames between the genlock reference and the SDI output. This control allows the offset
to be changed by an integral number of samples (pixels) on either direction (negative or
positive offset). The available range for this parameter depends on the SDI output
