Bandsaw - BS30 Assembly and Set-Up It is recommended that the machine is bolted to a suitable flat and level surface. Use the 4 mounting holes on the machine base and M8 (3/8") fasteners (not supplied) to secure it. • The machine is for indoor use only.
Bandsaw - BS30 Setting the Blade Guide and Counter-Pressure Bearings The machine has a blade guide to help keep the blade from deflecting sideways during cutting and 2 "counter-pressure" bearings that support the back edge of the blade and prevent it deflecting from the cutting pressure (that is, how much you push the work-piece against the blade during cutting).
Bandsaw - BS30 Install and Level the Table 1. Set the table angle adjustor (M) to 30°, then tighten the thumbscrew (N) by hand. 2. Carefully slide the table (1) into position and align the mounting holes on the underside of the table with the holes in the table angle adjustor.

Bandsaw - BS30 Maintenance Ensure the machine is switched OFF and disconnected from the electrical supply before performing any maintenance tasks. • All protection and safety devices must be immediately re-installed once the maintenance work is completed. • Some maintenance activities described may be beyond the scope of some users.
