WARRANTY
WARRANTY​ ​ C ONDITIONS
We​ ​ a t​ ​ M agnum​ ​ B ikes​ ​ U SA​ ​ o ffer​ ​ a ​ ​ w arranty​ ​ o f
•​ ​ 1 ​ ​ y ear​ ​ o n​ ​ t he​ ​ f rame​ ​ ( e-bikes)
• 1 year on all electronic components including battery on the new product advertised with the guarantee promise. The period for the calculation of
the warranty period begins with the date of the invoice. If material or manufacturing defects occur during this period, we offer as guarantor under the
warranty​ ​ o ne​ ​ o f​ ​ t he​ ​ f ollowing​ ​ s ervices​ ​ a t​ ​ o ur​ ​ d iscretion:
•​ ​ F ree​ ​ r epair​ ​ o f​ ​ t he​ ​ p roduct​ ​ o r
• Free exchange of the goods in whole or in part against an equivalent article (possibly also a successor model if the original product is no longer
available).​ ​ A ny​ ​ a rticles​ ​ o r​ ​ p arts​ ​ w hich​ ​ h ave​ ​ b een​ ​ r eplaced​ ​ a re​ ​ o ur​ ​ p roperty.​ ​ W arranty​ ​ c laims​ ​ a re​ ​ e xcluded​ ​ i n​ ​ c ase​ ​ o f​ ​ d amage​ ​ t o​ ​ t he​ ​ g oods​ ​ b y:
• Abusive or improper handling (eg operating errors, mechanical damage, incorrect operating voltage, faulty storage, improper connection, or faulty
installations).
•​ ​ E xcessive​ ​ e nvironmental​ ​ i nfluences​ ​ ( moisture,​ ​ h eat,​ ​ o vervoltage,​ ​ d ust,​ ​ e tc.)
•​ ​ F ailure​ ​ t o​ ​ o bserve​ ​ a ny​ ​ s afety​ ​ p recautions.
•​ ​ F ailure​ ​ t o​ ​ o bserve​ ​ t he​ ​ o perating​ ​ i nstructions​ ​ a nd​ ​ / ​ ​ o r​ ​ r ecommended​ ​ m aintenance​ ​ i ntervals.
•​ ​ U se​ ​ o f​ ​ f orce​ ​ ( eg​ ​ i mpact,​ ​ f all)
• Unauthorized repair attempts without our prior written consent or by a third party not authorized for the service or if the article is used for
commercial​ ​ p urposes.
•​ ​ D efects​ ​ d ue​ ​ t o​ ​ n ormal​ ​ w ear​ ​ a nd​ ​ t ear,​ ​ u nless​ ​ w e​ ​ v oluntarily​ ​ p rovide​ ​ g oodwill​ ​ w ithin​ ​ t he​ ​ f irst​ ​ y ear.
Removal or alteration of the type plate attached to the product, the serial number or any safety label will invalidate the warranty claim. A claim of the
guarantee service presupposes that we as guarantor check the guarantee is made possible by the dispatch of the goods. Care must be taken to
ensure that damage in shipping is avoided by means of a suitable packaging. Warranty does not imply an extension or restoration of the warranty
period​ ​ f or​ ​ t his​ ​ a ppliance;​ ​ R eplaced​ ​ p arts​ ​ b ecome​ ​ o ur​ ​ p roperty.
You must enclose a copy of the original invoice for the warranty. We ask for your understanding that we can reject the guarantee without having to
settle​ ​ t his​ ​ i nvoice.​ ​ T he​ ​ t ransmission​ ​ o f​ ​ t he​ ​ i nvoice​ ​ c opy​ ​ i s​ ​ u sed​ ​ t o​ ​ c alculate​ ​ t he​ ​ g uarantee​ ​ p eriod.
Please provide warranty claims by e-mail. All statutory warranty rights to which you are entitled shall remain unaffected by the above guarantee
provisions.​ ​ I f​ ​ y ou​ ​ h ave​ ​ q uestions​ ​ r egarding​ ​ t he​ ​ w arranty​ ​ o r​ ​ a ​ ​ g uarantee,​ ​ y ou​ ​ c an​ ​ a lso​ ​ c ontact​ ​ u s​ ​ b y​ ​ e mail​ ​ o r​ ​ t elephone.
