Port 0 ~ Port 5 SATA Device Type
Use this item to specify if the SATA port specifi ed by the user should be con-
nected to a Solid State drive or a Hard Disk Drive. The options are Hard Disk
Drive and Solid State Drive.
sSATA Confi guration
When this submenu is selected, AMI BIOS automatically detects the presence of
the SATA devices that are supported by the sSATA controller and displays the fol-
lowing items:
sSATA Controller
This item enables or disables the onboard SATA controller supported by the Intel
sSATA controller. The options are Enabled and Disabled.
Confi gure sSATA as
Select IDE to confi gure an sSATA drive specifi ed by the user as an IDE drive. Select
AHCI to confi gure an sSATA drive specifi ed by the user as an AHCI drive. Select
RAID to confi gure an sSATA drive specifi ed by the user as a RAID drive. The op-
tions are IDE, AHCI, and RAID.
*If the item above "Confi gure sSATA as" is set to AHCI, the following items will
display:
Support Aggressive Link Power Management
When this item is set to Enabled, the SATA AHCI controller manages the power
usage of the SATA link. The controller will put the link to a low power state when
the I/O is inactive for an extended period of time, and the power state will return
to normal when the I/O becomes active. The options are Enabled and Disabled.
sSATA Port 0~ Port 3
This item displays the information detected on the installed on the sSATA port.
