Cleaning the air outlet, grille and exterior
• Do not use gasoline, benzene, thinner, polishing powder or liquid insecticide.
• Do not use hot water of 50˚C or higher, doing so may result in discoloration or deformation.
• Wipe with dry soft cloth.
• When it is difficult to remove stains, use water or neutral detergent.
MAINTENANCE AT STARTING/ENDING OF THE SEASON
1. Check the following points:
• Is the air inlet or air outlet of the indoor/outdoor unit free from any obstacles?
• Is the grounding wire securely fixed?
No breaking of the grounding wire?
If you find any unusual point, please consult with your dealer.
2. Ask a professional maintenance staff to clean the air filter and exterior.
• After cleaning the air filter, be sure to put it back in the same position.
3. Apply power.
• When power is applied, the letters on the display unit of remote controller will be displayed.
(In order to protect the unit, apply power to the unit 6 hours or more before starting operation. In this way, smooth start of
operation is secured.)
1. On a clear day, continue FAN OPERATION for about half a day and let the inner part dry up.
• For details of FAN OPERATION, see page 8-9.
2. Cut OFF the power.
• If power is kept ON, several Watt - several tens of Watt will be consumed.
Please cut OFF the power for saving energy.
• When the power is OFF, the letters on the display unit of remote controller will disappear.
3. Ask a professional maintenance staff to clean the air filter and exterior.
• After cleaning the air filter, be sure to put it back in the same position.
