USEFUL INFORMATION FOR OPTIMUM OPERATION

• Hang a curtain or a window shade on the window.
To prevent direct rays of sun and a draft.
• Do not leave the door or window open.
Operational efficiency becomes poor.
• Do not put anything nearby the air outlet and air inlet.
Otherwise the capacity may deteriorate or the operation may
stop.
• Do not prevent the air from blowing out by keeping the
flaps of the discharge grille horizontal.
Otherwise the air will not blow out and trouble may be
invited.
• Do not install the remote controller in locations where
the temperature may exceed 0-35°C or the humidity
RH40-80%.
Otherwise this may cause malfunctions.

• Do not install the remote controller in direct sunlight.
Otherwise this may cause discoloration or defor-
mation.

• Effective use of timer operation. It can take a while for
the outlet air temperature to reach the set temperature.
Use the timer to start the unit running ahead of time.

• Clean the air filter often.
If you continue to use the unit with dirty air-filter, deterioration
of capacity or trouble may be invited. See page 17.

• Cut OFF the power when you do not use the unit for a
long period.
If power is kept ON, several Watt - several tens of Watt will
be consumed.
But when you restart operation of the unit, please apply the
power to the unit 6 hours or more in advance of restarting
without fail.
This is required for protecting the unit.

• Keep TV, radio, stereo, etc. 1 meter or more apart from
the indoor unit or remote controller.
Otherwise the image may be blurred or noise may be invited.
