B-3 Using SuperDoctor
The Supermicro SuperDoctor 5 provides an alternative to update the
BIOS on Supermicro C7 motherboards.
Note: To update the BIOS from the BIOS menu, refer to Chapter
4 for details.
Follow the steps below to update the BIOS.
1. On the main screen, select Configuration > Flash BIOS.
2. Press the Browse button to locate the desired BIOS binary file.
3. Click Upload to upload the file. The file will appear in the list of Available
BIOS as shown below.
4. If the flash is successful, a pop-up message will appear as shown below.
5. Click OK to complete the BIOS flash and to reboot the system.
