03 PUTTING INTO OPERATION 3.1 Unfolding the wheelchair Stand in front of the wheelchair, hold on to the side tubes at the front and push them apart. Then press one of the seat plates down in the front with the palm of your hand until the wheelchair has completely unfolded.

03 PUTTING INTO OPERATION 3.5 Foot plates / footboard (optional) Fold the foot plates down. The optional footboard connects the two foot plates together. Fit the footboard fully onto one of the foot plates and fold the footboard down until the opening on the opposite side completely covers the foot plate.

03 PUTTING INTO OPERATION Press the front clamp slightly upwards so that the pin of the side panel is flat. Finally, secure the two Allen screws in the front clamp. If you continue to position the clamps to the inside, the width of the back seat will be re- duced.

04 DRIVE MODE Getting into your wheelchair 1. Take off the leg rests (see chapter 4.4). 2. If possible, place the wheelchair’s rear wheels against a wall to avoid any roll-off. 3. Apply both locking brakes. 4. Place yourself in front of the wheelchair. Then carefully move back- wards until your legs touch the seat.

04 DRIVE MODE 4.6 Locking brake The locking brake allows the user to securely park the wheelchair. Activate the locking brake when stationary. (1) Push the lever forwards into a horizontal posi- tion until it holds independently. (2) The wheelchair is now stable; you can transfer to another chair or park it.
04 DRIVE MODE 4.8 Locking and unlocking the push The fixation for the push bar can be released on the left side. Unscrew the star grip screw until the plastic part protrudes out of the opening. Then you can swivel the push bar down and out to the side.

04 DRIVE MODE 4.10 Belt (optional) An optional belt can be installed. This secures and stabilises the person seated in the wheel- chair. It prevents the person from tipping for- wards out of the wheelchair. The belt is secured to the backrest tube on the left and right.

05 ADJUSTMENTS FOR INDIVIDUAL SETTINGS 5.2 Backrest You can adjust the backrest as you wish. To do so, remove the backpad of the back and undo the Velcro straps. Then you can Velcro the straps together in the desired position. Start with the lowest strap.
