Spray the inner shaft and RockShox® 3-hole vise blocks with isopropyl

5.7-7.9 N•m (50-70 in-lb)
alcohol and clean them with a rag. The clamping surfaces must be free
of oil and grease.
Clamp the inner shaft into the 10 mm slot in the RockShox 3-hole vise
blocks with the piston facing down.
Thread the poppet valve housing onto the inner shaft by hand. Use
an 11 mm crowfoot socket and a torque wrench to tighten the poppet
valve housing to 5.7-7.9 N•m (50-70 in-lb).
Remove the inner shaft assembly from the vise and set it aside.
NOTI CE
Do not scratch the inner shaft with the wrench as this is a critical
RockShox 3-hole vise blocks
sealing surface. Scratches can cause leaks.
