DP – Deducted Patient
Directions to Access the DP Screen
1. Enter a key of DP with a valid qualifier and press Enter.
The qualifier can be either:
· a valid NHS number; or
· a combination of surname, forename, other forename and/or date
If the system cannot uniquely identify a patient from the details entered,
the RS Deduction screen will be displayed listing all the potential
matches. For further details on RS, see Section 2, Chapter 4.
