2. On the Personal tab, tap Phone.
TIP: In the Sounds section, you can change
the way that you are notified of incoming calls.
3. On the Phone tab, select the required type of
ringing tone (Ring, Vibrate, or a combination)
from the Ring type: list.
Select the required tune from the Ring tone: list.
You can tap the control buttons to listen to a sample
of the tune.
TIP: You can also use custom *.wav, *.mid,
*.mp3, or *.wma files as ring tones.

phone for Change the ring tone & ActiveSync for
detailed instructions.
TIP: Using the Keypad: setting, you can
select the length of tones to be played when
you tap and hold the buttons on the phone
keypad. You can also set the tones to be Off.

Setting call barring

Call barring allows you to screen incoming and
outgoing calls.
To set call barring:
1. From the Today screen, tap Start > Settings.
2. On the Personal tab, tap Phone.
3. Tap the Services tab.
4. Tap Call Barring in the list of services, and
then tap the Get Settings... button to retrieve
settings from network.
5. When the current settings are displayed, select
the settings required for blocking incoming and
outgoing calls.
6. Tap ok.

Changing the call barring password

To change the call barring password:
1. From the Today screen, tap Start > Settings.
2. On the Personal tab, tap Phone.
3. Tap the Call Bar Pwd tab.
4. Tap the Change password... button.
5. Enter your old password, new password,
confirm you new password.
6. Tap Done. The request is sent to the network.
