WARNING: If you fail to enter the correct PIN
for your SIM card following three consecutive
unsuccessful attempts, you will need to
contact your Service Provider to obtain the
PIN Unblocking Key (PUK). Do not attempt to
guess the PUK as it will render your SIM card
permanently inoperative following ten
consecutive unsuccessful attempts
TIP: Emergency calls can be placed at any
time, without requiring a PIN.

2. On the Personal tab, tap Lock.
3. Tick the Prompt if device unused for
checkbox, and in the box to the right, select how
long your device can be left idle before a
password is required.
4. From the Password type: list, select the type of
password that you would like to use.

5. Enter the password and, if necessary, confirm
the password. If your device is configured to
connect to a network, use a strong password to
help network security.
6. Tap ok.
The next time the device is switched on or used
again after being left idle for a longer time than
specified in your settings, you will be prompted to
enter your password or to swipe your finger to
unlock your Toshiba phone.
NOTE: Each time a wrong password is
entered, the time the device takes to respond
will become longer until the device appears to
be not responding.
If you forget your password, you must follow
the instructions in this manual to clear the
memory before you can access your Toshiba
phone.
