Prerequisites

1 Remove the base
2 Remove the battery.
3 Remove the rear
4 Remove the computer

Procedure

NOTE: The status-light board includes an LED indicator for power and
battery-status light/hard-drive activity light.
1 Open the latch and disconnect the status-light board cable from the status light
board.
2 Remove the screw (M2x3) that secures the status-light board to the computer
base.
