Pairing and Unpairing Cordless Handset to Base
6. On the Handset, press the softkey for Pair
The following displays on the handset.
Upon success or failure of pairing, one of the following displays on the Handset and base station, respectively:

If pairing times out, retry the pairing procedure again. It may take several attempts to pair the Handset with the base
station.

Notes:
1. Ensure the Handset being unpaired is within close proximity to the base station. It is recommended that the Handset
be within 3 feet from the base station during unpairing. If the Handset is out of range, and you perform unpairing from
just the base station, the base station is unpaired, but the Handset remains paired. If communication between the base
station and the Handset is lost, you must perform unpairing on the Handset as well.
2. Unpairing of the Handset returns it to factory default state. All data, including the functions in the Feature key, are
removed.
